Request for Proposal: Expertise Services in Vilnius, Lithuania on “Investment Readiness” / Bridge2EU
AlbICT Association, as part of the Soft-Landing Program / Bridge2EU, a component of the Uplift Albania Accelerator Program, hereby announces the forthcoming call for Expertise Services on “Investment Readiness”, to be conducted in the city of Vilnius, Lithuania.
Uplift (https://uplift.al) stands as the premier non-equity startup accelerator in Albania, assisting startups in discovering their product-market fit, securing paying customers, and obtaining funding for scalability. The overarching aim of the accelerator program is to aid selected early-stage startups in realizing their full potential and guiding them towards sustainable growth.
The overarching objective of the Bridge2EU (Uplift component) is to foster connections between Albanian and European ecosystems. This component facilitates selected startups in entering new countries and receiving support from European consulting operators to comprehend market dynamics. The primary focus of this component is capacity building on investment readiness.
Between 4-8 representatives from the 5th cohort of the Uplift Albania Accelerator Program will have the opportunity to be selected for participation in the Bridge2EU program, a 4-day soft-landing trip to Europe focused on investment readiness.
Description of Services:
We are soliciting your proposal for engagement as a company with demonstrable experience and capabilities to conduct such an activity.
The company is required to offer a service based on an intensive capacity-building program for Albanian startups participating in this study trip. The proposal should include:
- A dedicated expert (CV) for the program who will serve as the point of contact and coordination, along with 6-8 experts from various fields.
- A Draft/Program containing an intensive schedule, encompassing the following activities:
- Presentation on the Lithuanian Startup and Investment Ecosystem Landscape.
- Dedicated session on “How Investors Look for Startups during the Scouting & Evaluation Process”.
- Dedicated session on “How to Manage the Relationship with Business Angels”.
- Dedicated session on “How to be Clear When Formulating the Business Case (Pitch Deck Workshop)”.
- Dedicated session with 4-5 investors from Lithuania or Europe in “Startup Roast: Pitching”.
- Dedicated session with a successful local founder sharing a failure story in “Fail Stories: Learning
from Mistakes”. - Session from a local / Lithuanian / European VC on how to prepare to speak with VCs, what to expect
from them, and what constitutes a Good Deal for a company. - Dedicated session on “Alternative Sources of Funding / Public Funding”.
- Dedicated session on “Negotiation Simulation with Investors”.
- Opportunity for at least one visit to a local accelerator in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The offer concerning this engagement should include the service costs and specify the cost/day for the expert engaged with all taxes and costs included. Expertise will be provided in the city of Vilnius, Lithuania.
