Background
ICTSlab opens the vacancy for the position of a Youth Project Coordinator to coordinate, facilitate and overview project activities for donor programs in the youth field both local and regional, implemented by ICTSlab.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with their supervisor and project’s experts and team;
• Support the team to oversee a portfolio of youth projects from inception through
implementation to conclusion;
• Provide support and guidance to program participants on sustainability and revenue
models, by following closely projects’ flow and activities;
• Assist in the preparation and implementation of ICTSlab’s Workshops – mobilizing young
people to participate in ICTSlab’s initiatives by conducting outreach activities in the form of
mini-workshops;
• Support the preparation and implementation of youth network activities;
• Contribute to the monitoring and documentation of the above, including the longitudinal
monitoring of activities and participant outcomes;
• Contribute to maintaining collaborations and extending partnerships with relevant
stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Experience and knowledge about the youth field in Albania and/or the region;
• Experience in working with development aid or donor organizations and implementing
donor funded projects;
• Relevant university degree, i.e., Social Studies, Economics or economic informatics, and relevant branch of studies;
• Very good computer skills, data processing and report writing.
• Highly motivated, takes initiative; is flexible and, works independently and as well as in
teams;
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; comfortable leading large groups;
• Work with Communication Officer to coordinate project’s promotion activities, and to develop public communication products (i.e. posts, briefings, fact sheets, etc.) that promote the project in social media, but not only;
• Fluency in English and Albanian, both written and spoken;
• English is essential, both written and spoken;
• Possession of driving license (Category B) is an advantage.
Expected Start Date: September 2023
Duration: Long-term project, with potential for renewal of the contract, based on performance.
